Roots Environmental is based in Barrie, Ontario but services clients throughout Ontario. We provide environmental consulting services for the public and private sector. Our clients appreciate the enthusiasm and dedication we put into each project. We are experienced in working independently or as part of a larger multi-disciplinary team.

Kyle Fleming- Senior Ecologist/Owner has over 15 years of experience as an environmental consultant. He has worked across Ontario, Canada and in the western United States, completing over 200 projects for private and public sector clients. He has extensive experience completing Environmental Impact Studies (EIS), Species at Risk Assessments and Permitting, Natural Environment Reports for aggregate (Pit & Quarry) applications, Environmental Assessments for road and bridge construction, and municipal applications for residential/commercial development projects.

Kyle has been qualified as an expert at the Ontario Municipal Board/LPAT, is a certified Wetland Evaluator and Butternut Assessor, and is trained in the use of Ecological Land Classification. He is familiar with municipal, provincial and federal policies and legislation.
Experience
With over 15 years experience in environmental consulting and 200 projects, we have the experience to get the job done. We have completed large pit & quarry applications, environmental assessments for road construction, large-scale subdivisions and single lot severances. We know what the regulatory agencies need and can help you reach your project goals.
